Caroline Gerke
Caroline graduated from the University of Lynchburg with a bachelors degree in Graphic design and double minors in marketing and digital media design. In the fall, after graduating, Caroline returned to the University of Lynchburg in pursuit of her Masters in Business Administration ('24)
Caroline worked for the Lynchburg Hornets Sports Network for 3 years as both a photographer and graphic designer during her undergraduate years and now while pursuing her MBA, she works as the Digital Media and Operations Graduate Assistant for the Athletics Department, where she leads photography and graphic design efforts for the department.
Past photography freelance work has included the Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic as an OR photographer, as well as many photography opportunities such as being hired for freelance work in portraits, graduation ceremonies and senior sessions, maternity, engagement shoots, proposals, VISAA Swimming and Diving Championship (2022 and 2023), sports events and more.
Aside from her current job at the University of Lynchburg, she has done freelance graphic design work for the Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic, Virginia Tech Ice Hockey, several realty companies, Warren Enginuity Power Systems, First Presbyterian Church, Valley Farma and more.
